Cato Networks

Cato Networks is a startup that’s aggressively competing against MPLS providers by offering its own cloud-based WAN backbone. Like other SD-WAN vendors, Cato provides a branch device that lets customers make use of multiple link types–broadband, LTE, and MPLS (or Cato’s own WAN rather than MPLS)–and provides application-based policy choices to direct traffic more than specific links. In inclusion, Cato supplies a series associated with cloud-based cctv camera installation services including firewalling and malware detection. The company targets small and medium enterprises. Shlomo Kramer, who also helped launch Check Point Software, is a co-founder.
