Prodapt, one of the nations leading consulting organizations related to technology and network services announced that they plan to leverage flexiWAN open-source SD-WAN on their virtual exchange.
flexiWAN is touted as the worlds first open-source sd-wan platform is becoming the premiere option for organizations looking for alternate SD-WAN deployment options. This partnership with Prodapt is a huge win given the availability of the OpenVX marketplace. Amir Zmora CEO and co-founder of FlexiWAN is quoted, “A major concern of service providers is lack of differentiation when reselling SD-WAN solutions. flexiWAN offers an Application Framework that enables service providers’ to differentiate their SD-WAN services by dynamically loading specific networking applications that run in the flexiEdge data flow or in flexiManage…” This aligns with the companies ultimate mission to allow SD-WAN through open and modular architecture hoping to lower the barriers for companies trying to adopt or offer services around SD-WAN.
This move is the first of many for flexiWAN and Prodapt to continue to monetize these services in the MSP and DSP space. We expect more MSPs to hope on board.
